Review descriptive results from the first wave of the National Study of Long-Term Care Providers, (NSLTCP) conducted by CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). Data presented in this report are drawn from five sources: NCHS surveys of adult day services centers and residential care communities, and administrative records obtained from the CMS on home health agencies, hospices, and nursing homes.
