This document describes the State of Kentucky’s plan on aging in accordance with Older Americans Act requirements. The plan describes the goals, objectives, and strategies of the Kentucky Department for Aging and Independent Living to coordinate services for older adults. Kentucky’s State Unit on Aging emphasizes goals to empower seniors and ensure their independence and autonomy with consumer-directed services. Kentucky also has as its goal expanding home and community-based services.
