Summary: 
This document describes the State of Iowa’s plan on aging in accordance with Older Americans Act requirements. The plan describes the goals, objectives, and strategies of Iowa’s Department on Aging to coordinate services for older adults. Amongst some of the goals for FY10-13 is to protect elder rights, strengthen disaster preparedness, improve nutrition and health for older adults, and promote independent living through programs such as the Senior Community Service Employment Program.
