Call for Submissions: Age-Friendly Health Series

Health Affairs is refreshing its series on Age-Health Health with a new cycle of papers that will run through June 30, 2028. The goal of this series is to improve care for older adults by helping to guide the federal, state, and local policy agenda through empirical studies and thoughtful, incisive commentary.
Health Affairs is interested in work that spans the full range of care settings and welcomes papers on issues of access, quality, and affordability. Topics of particular interest include:
• Age-friendly care
• Family caregiving
• Serious illness and end-of-life care
• Public programs
• Workforce
• Social determinants of health
• Innovative and emerging models of care
• Long-term services and supports
• Innovative use of technology
• Rural health
• Disparities and equity
Health Affairs plans to publish 18 to 21 journal articles through June 2028. There is no deadline for submissions, as papers will be considered on an ongoing basis.
