Medicaid serves nearly 60 million Americans, including many with complex and high-cost health care needs. The Integrated Care Resource Center is designed to help inform States about innovative solutions for delivering coordinated health care for Medicaid’s high-need, high-cost beneficiaries, with the goal of improving the quality and reducing the costs of care.

The goal of Our Ability is to be the online resource for people with disabilities. The site will add Our Community - a social network where people can communicate, add a profile, search for jobs as well as upload their own video stories. Our Ability will be the pathway for people with disabilities to find careers, education and inspiration.

This site highlights the employment successes of people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) who are working in paid jobs in their communities. Through the use of innovative, front-line employment support practices, these individuals are earning money, forming networks, and contributing to their communities. Learn more about these people and the promising practices that led to their success.

The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB), the national nonprofit that expands possibilities for people with vision loss, has launched a redesign of its main website. The new site offers a more interactive, engaging experience, making it easier for visitors to locate information on the topics that interest them. Like the former AFB website, the new afb.org is fully accessible to people with vision loss. Visitors can change colors, font, and font size to increase content readability.

The Exchange website offers busy health professionals and researchers a variety of opportunities to share, learn about, and ultimately adopt evidence-based innovations and tools suitable for a range of health care settings and populations. The site has the following components: Searchable innovations; Searchable QualityTools; Learning opportunities and Networking opportunities.

Wider Opportunities for Women’s (WOW) database provides information on how much it costs for families & older adults to cover their most basic expenses: housing, food, and transportation. The Basic Economic Security Tables (BEST) Index and the Elder Economic Security Standard Index (Elder Index) measure the incomes workers & retired adults need to achieve economic security. Both measures use comprehensive definitions of economic security, presented at the state, county & city levels.

One priority for an aging America is to enable older adults to live independently in their homes and communities. For those with limited income or resources, benefits can be a critical resource to receive support and avoid institutionalization. Many miss out on benefits due to lack of awareness, perceived complexity of applications, stigma, & misunderstanding eligibility.
