Public-Private Partnerships: Case Studies

Because effective partnership is a cornerstone of successful ADRC program development and ongoing operations, the Lewin Group has completed several aging and disability case studies on existing successful public-private partnerships. The case studies describe the approach, implementation, and outcomes of each partnership as well as reported “lessons learned.”

ADRC-TAE Selected Measures of Streamlining and Access Overview

How many hoops does a consumer have to jump through to receive services? The goal of service delivery for ADRC is seamless entry into long term supports for consumers. ADRC-TAE Issue Brief: Electronic Kiosks

One challenge many ADRCs face is how to provide services over large geographic areas with small numbers of staff. Several states have chosen to use kiosks as part of their outreach and marketing or information and referral components. This issue brief explores kiosks in use by ADRC grantees and other organizations and discusses considerations in designing accessible kiosks.

Referral Registry and Workforce Resource Centers Website

Managed by the Home Care Quality Authority (HCQA), a public agency in Washington, this Registry is a customized internet-based system designed to match the needs of publicly funded in-home consumers/employers with pre-qualified individual providers. The day-to-day operations are administered by Referral and Workforce Resource Centers (RWRCs). Local sites offer programs and services including referral searches, a Resource Clearinghouse and outreach materials such as the attached newsletter.

The National Direct Service Workforce Resource Center Website

Launched by CMS, the center provides information and assistance to state and local governments, policy makers, researchers, employers, workers and consumers. The Resource Center offers a comprehensive on-line database, information through a toll-free telephone number, and individualized, in-depth technical assistance for selected State Medicaid Agencies. Visit the site for best practices and other materials to increase the quality of the workforce and enhance recruitment and retention.

Virginia Family to Family Health Information and Education Center Resources

Parent to Parent and Family Voices are proud to announce the new Family to Family Health Information and Education Center called the Virginia Integrated Network of Family Organization or The VA-INFO Center. The center provides youth and parents of children with special needs, service providers and others one place to call to get information and referrals, parent to parent peer support, annual family support conference, and other training opportunities.
