Live Well At Home Program Rapid Screen©

Review the screening tool and instructions for the The Live Well At Home Program Rapid Screen©, used to identify the risk of older persons for nursing home admission and/or spend down to Medical Assistance. Upon completion of the Rapid Screen© the older person will know their risk category and have a list of up to seven identified evidence-based risk factors. Annual Disability Statistics Compendium: 2009

This compendium is the first of an annual publication of statistics on people with disabilities and government programs that serve this population. It is designed to serve as a reference guide to government publications. The information focuses on state-level statistics published by Federal agencies and presents some time-trend data. A glossary is provided to assist in the interpretation of the statistics.

New State Strategies To Meet Long-Term Care Needs

States’ efforts to expand consumer-directed long-term care service programs, are often hindered by challenges related to costs, staffing and organizational issues, infrastructure requirements, and resistance from stakeholders. Yet states have developed a number of successful strategies for overcoming these challenges. Their experiences offer valuable insights, guidance, and encouragement to other states considering CDS. Managed Care and Provider Response to Consumer-Directed Services for Elderly Waiver Recipients - Minnesota

RWJF National Program Office on Cash & Counseling and the Minnesota DHS, had Paone & Associates conducted focus groups in 2007 to probe response to Minnesota’s consumer-directed care service option for EW recipients on managed care. The focus groups targeted managed care organizations (MCOs), care coordinators, and other organizations and individuals with experience in offering this service option to this population. This report offers results from those groups and recommendations for the state.

Estimating Participation and Revision Options in the MIG Program - Arkansas

A primary original intent of the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant program was to ensure that states could learn from each other as they pursued their individual employment initiatives. With this in mind, George Washington University released this report, outlining options for raising the unearned income limit for the Arkansas Medicaid Buy-In, with projections of increased enrollment. Also included is a separate report explaining the methodology.
