Finding Common Ground: Creating Inclusive Communities Teleconference & Report

Sponsored by the Community Living Exchange Collaborative at ILRU this teleconference featured Real Choice Systems Change grantees describing their efforts to create inclusive communities in West Virginia. Presenters described how they engaged diverse stakeholders in a process of visioning & group action planning with the services of a graphic facilitator. The teleconference took place on Tuesday 06/29/04.

Quality Mall

The Quality Mall is \"a place where you can find lots of free information about person-centered supports for people with developmental disabilities. Each of the Mall stores has departments you can look through to learn about positive practices that help people with developmental disabilities live, work and participate in our communities and improve the quality of their supports.\"

2003 CMS Conference Presentations

The Living and Working in the Community 2003 conference, sponsored by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), was held March 4-5, 2003. Model Communities: An Informal Discussion Among States

On July 16 and 17, 2003, representatives from a diverse assortment of states came together in Denver, Colorado, to share information, learn from one another and explore ways to help each other achieve an important, mutual goal: to build better and stronger communitiesin which people with disabilities are readily and routinely part of the fabric of everyday life. This is a report on that discussion.
