Demonstrating value through the quality of your AAA or CBO services can be an effective way to build and expand new business relationships. This presentation, part of n4a’s 2017 annual conference, focuses on the types of measures you can easily report on, and also how you can provide upstream benefits by impacting the measures that health plans must report on and be evaluated by.

To understand both the needs of people who use long-term services and supports (LTSS) through Medicare and Medicaid coverage and ways to apply quality measurement to this population, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), supported by The SCAN Foundation, developed a roadmap for evaluating the quality of integrated care for dual eligibles.

The following is a list of agencies that are reviewed by New York's OPWDD's Division of Quality Improvement (DQI). In the reports section, each agency will have a listing of the services it provides. However, performance information will only be available for those agencies that provide Medicaid Service Coordination services, and/or agencies whose certified programs have had a Safety and Physical Plant Review completed since October 2014.

The Provider Report Card (PRC) is an initiative of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) in the District of Columbia that began in August 2012. The PRC provides cumulative performance data to providers and identify opportunities and challenges to providing high quality services to people with disabilities in the District.

This tool from n4a is intended to help a CBO leader refine key talking points on one of their organization’s priority products and services in preparation for discussions with a potential business partner. This tool will help lead to the development of a value-based, to-the-point “elevator speech” for use in discussions with potential business partners.

In this presentation, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), shared insights from its research on person-centered goals for people with complex care needs and tools for CBOs to become more effective partners with health plans, including how to effectively measure quality improvement and implement quality improvement initiatives.
