Aging with Spinal Cord Injury: Focus on Function, Physical Activity and Well-being

As part of the Knowledge in Motion Lecture and Webcast Series, SNERSCIC is presenting a webinar on aging and long-term spinal cord injuries. The webinar will take place on Thursday, April 19th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. ET and will feature Jan Lexell, MD, PhD from Uppsala University, Sweden. Dr. Lexell is a neuroscience professor whose research focuses on the life-long implications of neurologic disabilities.

During this webinar, participants will learn about conditions which commonly occur alongside long-term spinal cord injuries (SCI) and will develop a better understanding of what influences physical activity levels of older adults living with SCIs. Participants will also explore factors associated with life satisfaction.
