The Profile of Older Americans compiles data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the National Center for Health Statistics, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics to create a statistical summary of older Americans. The Profile focuses specifically on the population aged 65 and older and looks at changing demographics across individual categories, including population, income and poverty, living arrangements, education, health, and caregiving.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released their monthly report for February 2018 on Medicaid and CHIP application, eligibility determination, and enrollment data. This report includes point-in-time data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, including the number of applications submitted directly to Medicaid and CHIP agencies, the number of eligibility determinations made on these applications, and the total number of individuals enrolled in the Medicaid and CHIP programs.

The following is a list of agencies that are reviewed by New York's OPWDD's Division of Quality Improvement (DQI). In the reports section, each agency will have a listing of the services it provides. However, performance information will only be available for those agencies that provide Medicaid Service Coordination services, and/or agencies whose certified programs have had a Safety and Physical Plant Review completed since October 2014.

The Provider Report Card (PRC) is an initiative of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) in the District of Columbia that began in August 2012. The PRC provides cumulative performance data to providers and identify opportunities and challenges to providing high quality services to people with disabilities in the District.

The Genworth Cost of Care Survey is a tool that details the costs of different types of care in various locations. This is a tool that can assist with long term care planning, and help individuals and families plan for long term care expenses. The 2017 survey covered 440 regions across the United States.

In 2017, ADvancing States administered a survey of state agencies that deliver LTSS, including aging and disability agencies as well as Medicaid programs, regarding the significant policy, fiscal, and operational issues occurring within each state. During the survey, we collected detailed information about the structure of agencies, the supports provided, and the populations served by state programs.

The Administration for Community Living’s National Adult Protective Services Technical Assistance Resource Center has released their first National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS) FFY 2016 data report. NAMRS is a voluntary data reporting system which collects data from state and local Adult Protective Services systems. This report contains information about the quantity and type of data submitted by states, the District of Columbia, and territories.

A national survey of Area Agencies on Aging is conducted every two to three years. The National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) has released their 2017 survey report. They surveyed 622 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), with 412 completing the survey, to discover what services they commonly offer, how AAAs address funding, and what their policy priorities are.

The Community Living Policy Center reviewed the effects of the Better care Reconciliation Act (BCRA) should it pass. Upon review, they conclude that had it been implemented in the mid-2000s then it would have reduced Federal reimbursments becuase of the proposed caps.

University Center for Children and Families (CCF) and the University of North Carolina NC Rural Health Research Program (NC RHRP) studies the effects of Medicaid on rural areas and small towns as opposed to dense metropolitan areas. Since the implementation of the ACA, those who are covered by insurance have noticeably increased the number of Americans who are insured.
