This document, Use of Client-Employed Providers: Participant's Capacity for Self-Direction, provides a list of specific questions a case manager may consider in evaluating the individual's ability to employ CEPs.

In this letter CMS introduces Medicaid Directors to Careplanner.org. If you are a senior or caregiver, you can use this site to enter information about your current living situation/preferences and then receive custom-tailored reports that help you decide between different living options. This free service is funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
