This memorandum presents data on Medicaid long-term care expenditures in Federal Fiscal Year 2006 (Oct 2005-Sept 2006). Table 1 presents national data on Medicaid expenditures for Long-Term Care from 1994-2006. ADRC-TAE Issue Brief: Online Medicaid Applications

ADRCs have used a number of strategies to streamline access to long-term services and supports. One key strategy, used by many ADRCs, is to provide online applications for Medicaid or screening tools to assess eligibility for benefits. Medicaid Insurance for Works with Disabilities Awareness Training

The Nebraska MIG program, in partnership with HHS, Easter Seals of Nebraska, and the Social Security Administration, held a training for the Medicaid Insurance for People with Disabilities program. CommonHealth Brochure: Massachusetts Medicaid Infrastructure Grant

The Massachusetts MIG, CommonHealth, created an informational brochure describing how the program works and resources for individuals with disabilities living in Massachusetts who want to work and still receive their Medicaid benefits. The brochure also includes a survey requesting the reader’s thoughts on the usefulness of the brochure itself.

Medicaid: A Primer

Medicaid Work Incentive Coverage for Workers with Disabilities in Hawaii

Hawaii’s MIG, entitled “Hire Abilities”, produced a draft report presenting an analysis on how Hawaii will offer the MIG program to working people with disabilities. The draft report was posted online and made available for reader feedback. The report also addresses how six other States have implemented their MIG programs.
