Effect Of Consumer Direction On Adults' Personal Care And Well-Being In Arkansas, New Jersey, And Florida

This study of the Cash & Counseling demonstration program for adults in the three participating states examines how a new model of consumer-directed care changes the way that consumers with disabilities meet their personal care needs and how that affects their well-being. Demonstration enrollment, which occurred between December 1998 and July 2002, was open to interested beneficiaries who were eligible for PCS under their state Medicaid plan.

Key Elements of F/EA Quality Management

This presentation was part of the 2007 Government and Vendor Fiscal/Employer Agent Workshop. The presentation discusses some key activities related to F/EA quality management, including: implementing effective Medicaid provider agreements and administration contracts, conducting initial F/EA readiness/certification reviews, and implementing ongoing F/EA performance/recertification reviews and program participant, representative and worker satisfaction surveys.

Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) for Older Adults in Minnesota: Final Report

A modest evaluation of the experience in Minnesota was included as part of their Cash & Counseling grant and this is the final report describing that qualitative evaluation.This report explores consumer and family member response to CDCS, presenting the results from key informant interviews held in 2007.
