From Caregiver to Caregiver: The Wisdom and Insights of Former NFCSP Caregivers

ACL undertook a two-part evaluation of the Older Americans Act Title III-E National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP) between 2013 and 2018. ACL conducted a small, retrospective study of caregivers in the Outcome Evaluation whose care recipient passed away during the course of the outcome evaluation. This supplementary study gathered information on the service components and needs of bereaved caregivers and highlights “advice from caregivers to caregivers.”

State and Local Public Health Partnerships to Address Dementia, The 2018-2023 Road Map

This Road Map outlines actions state and local public health agencies and their partners can take to stimulate changes in policies, systems and environments. The goal is also to ensure that initiatives to address Alzheimer's can be easily and efficiently incorporated into existing public health initiatives. The Road Map outlines 25 action items for the field of public health to promote brain health, better care for people with cognitive impairment, and increase attention to caregivers.

Millennials: The Emerging Generation of Family Caregivers

This report looks at the role of millennials as family caregivers. As their older family members age, millennials have taken on more responsibilities, and about one in four family caregivers is now a millennial. Millennial caregivers have unique experiences and face specific challenges which affect the type of support they need. This paper provides insight on these unique experiences.

Using Telehealth to Improve Home-Based Care for Older Adults and Family Caregivers
