CMS State Medicaid Directors Letter: Ticket to Work Program - Clarification Regarding the Receipt of Federal Funds

This letter provides clarification on the receipt of Federal funds under the SSA Ticket to Work program and encourages utilization of the program’s flexible funding offers. Policy clarifications regarding State Medicaid providers’ acceptance and the treatment of SSA ticket payments are included, as well as clarification regarding the prohibition of using Ticket Outcome and Milestone payments as the State share of financial participation.

Managed Care and Provider Response to Consumer-Directed Services for Elderly Waiver Recipients - Minnesota

RWJF National Program Office on Cash & Counseling and the Minnesota DHS, had Paone & Associates conducted focus groups in 2007 to probe response to Minnesota’s consumer-directed care service option for EW recipients on managed care. The focus groups targeted managed care organizations (MCOs), care coordinators, and other organizations and individuals with experience in offering this service option to this population. This report offers results from those groups and recommendations for the state.

Consultant Services Request for Proposals - New Mexico

This high level systems map of Indiana’s disability and employment infrastructure gives a general overview of state agency programs and services. This includes statistics on each agency program, separated into Employment and Training Programs, Health Related Disability and Employment Supports, and Other Programs Involved with Individuals with Disabilities and Employment Supports. Also outlined are the steps taken, the activities, completion date and persons responsible for these outcomes.

Estimating Participation and Revision Options in the MIG Program - Arkansas

A primary original intent of the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant program was to ensure that states could learn from each other as they pursued their individual employment initiatives. With this in mind, George Washington University released this report, outlining options for raising the unearned income limit for the Arkansas Medicaid Buy-In, with projections of increased enrollment. Also included is a separate report explaining the methodology.

Overview Of The Consumer Direction Module

An overview of the Consumer Direction Module, a web-based software application for supporting the delivery of self-directed services, is provided here. The CDM is designed to make communication among the program participant, support broker, Fiscal/Employer Agent and state administrator simple and efficient; permit ongoing, timely, and efficient monitoring; and enhance the delivery of self-directed services.
