On April 14, 2022 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture released the proposed scientific questions that will inform the development of the 2025-2030 DGAs. They are requesting public input on the proposed questions and will accept written comments from the public until Monday, May 16, 2022 .

ACL’s Office of Nutrition and Health Promotion Programs (ONHPP) has released a new collection of resources to help senior nutrition programs better understand and meet dietary guidelines, as well as requirements of the Older Americans Act (OAA).

This Advisory Committee report is open for public review and comment until April 8, 2015. The report describes findings from the Advisory Committee's review of the scientific evidence on diet, nutrition, and health, and will help inform the next edition of the Dietary Guidelines, expected to be released by the end of 2015. The Dietary Guidelines are updated every five years and directly affect all federally-funded nutrition programs.
