Request for information

On December 20, 2022 CMS released a report summarizing the public comments it received in response to the 2022 Request for Information (RFI): Access to Coverage and Care in Medicaid & CHIP. CMS framed the RFI questions across three dimensions of health care access: (1) enrolling in coverage, (2) maintaining coverage, and (3) accessing services and supports. This report includes counts of comments, types of respondents, summaries of common themes across objectives, and cross-cutting findings.

The Acting Assistant Secretary for Aging and Administrator of ACL is seeking information on recommended changes, additions, or deletions to Code of Federal Regulation's section on Grants to State and Community Programs on Aging; Grants to Indian Tribes for Support and Nutrition Services; Grants for Supportive and Nutritional Services to Older Hawaiian Natives; and Allotments for Vulnerable Elder Rights Protection Activities, including Subpart A—State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. Information must be submitted electronically on June 6, 2022 by 11:59 p.m. ET. All are encouraged to submit electronic comments to: Administration on Aging, OAAregulations@acl.hhs.gov. The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) has launched the Community Connected Health Initiative, with the intention of integrating innovation, technology, and human connection to support communities in achieving better health. OSTP released a Request for Information (RFI) on Strengthening Community Health Through Technology. This RFI is open to all stakeholders and will likely remain open until March 31, 2022.
