USAging recently lunched the first set of Caregiver Services and Supports Action Guides, which contain resources designed to help Aging Network organizations develop and strengthen innovative caregiver services and supports that meet the needs of caregivers.
The first four guides feature:
• Education, Counseling, and Peer Supports for Family Caregivers
• Fostering Partnerships Between Child Welfare and Aging Systems to Support Kin Caregivers
• Leveraging Volunteers to Support Family Caregivers
• Services and Supports That Address Whole Person Health for Family Caregivers
The next set of guides will be released soon, covering: Emergency Response Planning and Preparedness; Future Care and Long-Term Care Planning; Person and Family-Centered Trauma-Informed Care; and Respite Care.
