2026 Risk Reduction Learning Collaboratives

The Alzheimer’s Association, in collaboration with the Association for State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), is inviting up to 18 Tribal, urban Indian, and local health department leaders to join one of two nationwide Risk Reduction Learning Collaboratives.
These sessions will enhance participants’ capacity to reduce Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in their communities. Activities will focus on holding local planning meetings and developing a community action plan to address dementia risk and brain health.
Tribally-led health programs, urban Indian organizations, and local health departments are encouraged to apply. Accepted applicants must be able to attend the in-person meeting, which will be held:
- June 23-24, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for tribally-led health programs and urban Indian organizations
- April 29–30, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, for local health departments
Applications are due Friday, January 16.
