Ticket to Work Program

The TTW was designed to remove many of the barriers that previously influenced people’s decisions about going to work because of concerns over losing health care coverage. The goal is increase opportunities & choices for beneficiaries to obtain employment, vocational rehabilitation, & other support services. Quality Jobs/Quality Care Website and Newsletter

The National Clearinghouse on the Direct Care Workforce publishes a free e-mail newsletter called Quality Jobs/Quality Care. Published twice a month, the newsletter covers issues concerning direct-care workers in long-term care and provides reliable, up-to-date information related to the direct-care workforce nationwide. Vermont Work Incentives Initiative Website

The Vermont Work Incentives Initiative is comprised of several interconnected grant projects that fund direct services to clients, research, and systems change efforts focused on improving employment outcomes and independence for people with disabilities. The web site prvides a wide array of resources on several topics, including benefits counseling, medicaid buy-in program, personal assistance services and other employment supports. CHOICE Website

The CHOICE website is devoted to Inclusion, Childcare, and Education. The site is intended as a gateway to services for young children in Nevada, but the site's resources will be useful to people across the country. The site hosts information, supports, services, video clips and polls. The Make A CHOICE Project promotes quality childcare and supports inclusion of all children in childcare and educational settings, especially those with disabilities and chronic healthcare conditions.

Data Resource Center on Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Website

This site provides data, tips and tools to use with data for states and families to help guide improvements in community-based systems of care for CYSHCN. You will find a variety of resources on this site - including an easy to use, interactive data query feature that allows users to view and compare state, regional and nationwide findings from the National Survey of Children with Special Health Care Needs.

The ADA Collection website

A new website, the ADA Collection, offers visitors over 3,000 documents pertaining to the Americans with Disabilites Act. This new one-stop, one-shop ADA source is online at http://www.adaportal.org. The website offers in-depth information about a variety of topics, but also includes general and easy-to-understand information about the ADA. Document categories include employment, state & local government, private business, facility access, transporation, communication, and enforcement.

One Stop Toolkit

This website provides accessible and comprehensive tools and information to grantees who provide services that help individuals with disabilities find and keep good jobs. The resources help grantees widen the array and integration of services available at One-stop centers. This site is targeted toward state and local One-Stop service providers, but individuals with disabilities, advocates, parents, counselors and other professionals will find a rich source of information here.
