This Web cast covers a brief background to the development of the Rewarding Work Web site, consumer involvement in the design, description of key features of the Web site, searchable items on the job application, how workers and individual employers use the site, related components of the Rewarding Work campaign, and how individual states are linking Rewarding Work to their systems change efforts.

During this teleconference on 11/10/2003, Mary Jean Duckett from CMS presented answers to the grantee question: \"How do we continue working with people in nursing homes after our grant ends.\" Three options were discussed: Transition can be covered as a service under the Home and Community-based waivers; as a targeted case management service under the state plan or reimbursed as an administrative activity.

PHAs administer 3.2 million government subsidized housing resources for low income households and people with disabilities must have an equal opportunity to participate in PHA programs. CMS provided critical information about a no cost extension, mandatory reporting, and more. Topics for discussion included: 1) Working with the new CMS web-based reporting system; 2) Reassignment of CMS Project Officers to better address Grantee needs; 3) Timing and Processes to request no cost extensions.

Presenters described how they engaged diverse stakeholders in a process of visioning & group action planning with the services of a graphic facilitator. The teleconference took place on Tuesday 06/29/04.
