In April 2020, the American Association on Health & Disability (AAHD) conducted a survey to assess COVID-19's impact on access to healthcare for adults with a range of disabilities. This new comparative report complements their previous survey publications. The report analyzes survey results by type of disability and examines differences/similarities in disability group responses during COVID-19.

This guide highlights the benefits and opportunities available for CBOs interested in providing services under Medicare FFS. It describes important considerations including billing and filing processes, culture change, and regulatory compliance. The guide also reviews how to enroll as a Medicare provider and outlines which services CBOs can offer.

The compendium highlights over 200 approved Section 1915(c) and Section 1115 waivers across all 50 states and DC. As an accompaniment to this compendium, MACPAC has also released an issue brief. This report analyzes the challenges grandparents and older relatives face as primary caregivers. The report outlines the numbers of grandparent and older relative caregivers, and the reasons for this care. It also examines how HHS supports state efforts to use federal programs and initiatives to assist these caregivers. GAO concludes the report by making recommendations for how HHS could improve the sharing of information and best practices about older caregivers with states.

This issue brief analyzes COVID-19 related legislative, regulatory, and subregulatory changes to Medicare from January 1, 2020 to July 24, 2020. The brief groups these regulatory changes into nine themes and examines questions regarding the policy changes moving forward. The brief is accompanied by a policy tracker that categorizes all 212 changes based on factors including types of providers and plans affected, effective date, and expected duration.

The first option described in this guide is accessing matching CMS data on Medicare enrollment with state data on Medicaid enrollment. The second option reviewed is collecting aligned enrollment data ddirectly from D-SNPs. This guide includes additional resources states can use to collect more information on identifying Medicare plan enrollment for duals.

This technical assistance tool explains how states can identify Medicaid enrollees who are dually eligible and those who are prospective dual eligibles. The guide outlines how states exchange files with CMS through the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) file exchange process to identify these individuals. This resource describes how the monthly MMA file exchange process can benefit both states and dually eligible individuals.

This new report is an update to a SEED report published in 2016 and includes legislation and executive actions enacted since the 2016 report. These updates are organized into five policy themes for inclusive employment: laying the groundwork, preparing for work, getting to and accessing work, staying at work; and self-employment and entrepreneurship. The updated report also highlights success stories from recent disability-inclusive policy efforts and actions in the states.

The National Quality Forum (NQF) has published the final report from the Person-Centered Planning and Practice Project. This report outlines recommendations from a committee of stakeholders with lived and professional experience in LTSS. The report includes the committee's final recommendations across a number of areas regarding person-centered thinking, planning, and practice.
