This directory is a useful tool that lists all of the current ACL National Resource Centers. It includes a a brief summary of each center as well as key contact information for the center. The directory was last updated on April 30, 2019.

This report is the third in a series of publications from the MLTSS Institute. The report identifies the challenges and promising practices in addressing the mismatch between supply and demand for direct care workers in long term services and supports programs, all viewed through the lens of MLTSS programs. This report is co-authored by ADvancing States and Sage Squirrel Consulting, LLC.

It identifies concrete policy strategies, operational steps, and federal and state authorities that states have used to advance LTSS reforms. It also includes specific case studies and advice for other states looking to implement similar reforms. In addition, CHCS has published a brief for state legislators looking for a summary of options for developing LTSS policies.

This study examines elder financial exploitation Suspicious Activity Reports (EFE SARs) filed with the federal government by financial institutions such as banks and money services businesses between 2013 and 2017. The goal of this report is to analyze the complex problem of elder financial exploitation and identify ways to improve prevention and response.

The Alzheimer's Association has published the 2019 Alzheimer's Disease Facts and Figures report. This annual report offers insight into the burden of Alzheimer's and dementia on individuals, caregivers, government and the nation's health care system. The report provides an in-depth look at the latest national statistics on Alzheimer's prevalence, incidence, mortality, and costs. It also examines awareness, attitudes, and utilization of cognitive assessments among older adults.

This report explores innovations that have the potential to improve quality of life for Americans who live with physical or cognitive burdens due to aging or disability. The report identifies six opportunities for emerging technologies to help Americans live longer, healthier, and more independent lives. These six areas are: Key activities of daily living, Cognition, Communication and social connectivity, Personal mobility, Transportation, and Access to healthcare.

The Compendium includes many tables of data, including state and national values and trends over time. The Compendium is broken into eleven sections and includes topics such as employment, health, and education. The Annual Report highlights state and trend data, and complements the detailed tables available in the Compendium & Supplement.

This fact sheet provides an overview of the safe use of prescription opioid pain medications. It discusses the process of safety reviews at the pharmacy, as well as the Drug Management Programs to help patients who are at risk for prescription drug abuse. It is important to note that safety reviews and Drug Management Programs generally don’t apply to those who have cancer, get hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care, or those who live in a long-term care facility.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released their monthly report for November 2018 on Medicaid and CHIP application, eligibility determination, and enrollment data. This report includes point-in-time data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, including the number of applications submitted directly to Medicaid and CHIP agencies, the number of eligibility determinations made on these applications, and the total number of individuals enrolled in the Medicaid and CHIP programs.
