This is a NASDDS Policy Buletin on how to get federal financing for management information systems (MIS) to manage services for persons with developmental disabilities.

The Mass Accessible Housing Registry is a free program that helps people with disabilities find rental housing in Massachusetts, primarily accessible and barrier-free housing. People with disabilities can search this information to identify housing opportunities that suit their needs. A contact person and phone number is provided, and if you are interested in applying to a particular apartment, you should call them directly.

Sixteen Regional Office waiver review reports were reviewed to identify the areas most frequently cited using the HCBS Quality Framework categories as a guide. States included in the sample represented all regions of the country, as well as sparsely and densely populated states.

The goal of the Center highlighed on this site is to translate knowledge gained from research into practice through broad-based training, technical assistance, and dissemination to persons with mental retardation, their families, service providers, administrators and policy makers, advocacy groups, and the general community.

This Promising Practices Bulletin highlights the development and implementation of an internet-based centralized reporting system to report and track major/unusual incidents in the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. The system is used by county boards to report major and unusual incidents (MUIs) to the state, by the state to follow up on investigations and remediation related to MUIs, as well as for analysis of patterns and trends related to MUIs.
