Family to Family Health Information Centers look at Cultural Considerations and Differences when working with American Indians. The 2005 Annual Research Meeting is AcademyHealth's premier forum for health services research. More than 2,300 leading health services researchers and policymakers attended the meeting to hear the latest findings on critical health care delivery topics such as, Medicare, coverage & access, disparities, health information technology, long-term care, health care quality, and patient safety. This website was developed through a joint effort by a number of community agency and provider groups as a resource for people working to protect Medicaid. The site offers ready-to-use toolkit of messages, materials and dissemination ideas. There are resources on Federal updates and action steps, ideas on ways to reach the media, background, tips and links and real stories from the 50 million Americans that Medicaid Matters to most.

This report presents information aggregated from 13 F2F HICs and provides an early indication of the extent and importance of the activities of these critical family centers. The data indicates that F2F HICs are steadily increasing their capacity to document what they do. Both families and professionals frequently seek expertise and assistance from F2F HICs. The most common concerns reported relate to needs for adequate health care financing and links to community resources.

Family Voices is a national, grassroots clearinghouse for information and education concerning the health care of children with special health needs. The website offers information, publications, state Family Voice contacts, policy and legislation details and other helpful links

CMS was soliciting proposals from states to develop the infrastructure to support competitive employment opportunities for people with disabilities. United We Ride is an interagency Federal national initiative that supports States and their localities in developing coordinated human service delivery systems. In addition to State coordination grants, United We Ride provides State and local agencies a transportation-coordination and planning self-assessment tool, help along the way, technical assistance, and other resources to help their communities succeed

This memorandum presents state-by-state data on Medicaid long term care expenditures in Federal Fiscal Year 2004 (October 2003 through September 2004). The accompanying tables present data on Medicaid Expenditures for Long-Term Care services from 1992 to 2004. A new table this year shows the effect of supplemental nursing facility payments in some states on expenditure data. A separate file ranks states based on the proportion of LTC spending for community services.
