FRCS are an increasingly popular way to provide a variety of support to all types of families where, when and how they need them. Located in communities & designed to be accessible, these centers aim to put into practice much of what practitioners & policymakers have learned about what works best for children and families. The past decade has seen a steady increase in the number of centers because of the creativity and resourcefulness. This report offers ideas and financing options.

This teleconference was held to allow Family to Family grantees share their expertise and areas of concern. The goal was to learn from the experiences of other grantees. Agenda topics included collaborating with other organizations on webpages, and 211 information lines, how to handle hotline calls in an efficient, yet empathetic manner, and how to effectively collect and use family stories.

The CHOICE website is devoted to Inclusion, Childcare, and Education. The site is intended as a gateway to services for young children in Nevada, but the site's resources will be useful to people across the country. The site hosts information, supports, services, video clips and polls. The Make A CHOICE Project promotes quality childcare and supports inclusion of all children in childcare and educational settings, especially those with disabilities and chronic healthcare conditions.

Democracy is not a spectator sport. This guide was written to help you use the skills you already have to change government actions that affect your life. As an individual, you may wonder what you can do to change things. As a grassroots group, you may think that the deck is stacked against you. The Power Point slides provide strategies for grass roots advocacy. Materials are especially useful for advocates and consumers.
