The following is a list of agencies that are reviewed by New York's OPWDD's Division of Quality Improvement (DQI). In the reports section, each agency will have a listing of the services it provides. However, performance information will only be available for those agencies that provide Medicaid Service Coordination services, and/or agencies whose certified programs have had a Safety and Physical Plant Review completed since October 2014.

The Provider Report Card (PRC) is an initiative of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) in the District of Columbia that began in August 2012. The PRC provides cumulative performance data to providers and identify opportunities and challenges to providing high quality services to people with disabilities in the District.

This issue brief from the Administration for Community Living describes the nutritional quality of congregate and home-delivered meals offered through the Nutrition Services Program and examines their compliance with the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The brief also discusses how the Healthy Eating Index (HEI)-2010 was used to assess the nutritional quality of the congregate and home-delivered meals.

This issue brief from the Kaiser Family Foundation discusses four key issues related to long-term services and supports (LTSS), including institutional and home and community-based services (HCBS) quality, highlighting major legislative and policy changes over the last 30 years. The brief also includes data about LTSS providers and consumers, summarizes key federal laws and policies related to quality, and lists selected federal quality measures.

The National Core Indicators-Aging and Disabilities (NCI-AD) is an initiative designed to support states’ interest in assessing the performance of their programs and delivery systems in order to improve services for older adults and individuals with physical disabilities. NCI-AD is a collaborative effort between ADvancing States and HSRI. The following is an archive of webinars about the NCI-AD initiative.

This report captures the current state of I&R/A service provision, including trends and developments, challenges and opportunities, and promising practices, through survey responses provided by representatives from state agencies on aging and disability, Area Agencies on Aging, Aging and Disability Resource Centers, Centers for Independent Living, non-profit human service organizations and national organizations.

ADvancing States in collaboration with the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) released the results from a six-state deployment of the National Core Indicators – Aging and Disabilities (NCI-AD™) adult consumer survey. While 13 states are participating in the NCI-AD survey in 2016, six of the states - Colorado, Georgia, Maine, Mississippi, New Jersey, and North Carolina- received their results more quickly.

On April 21, 2016, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule on managed care in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The final rule enhances transparency in Medicaid and CHIP managed care, supports states in contracting with health plans that offer higher-value care, improves consumer and stakeholder engagement, and, where feasible, aligns quality measurement and improvement in Medicaid and CHIP managed care with other systems of care.

The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS), in partnership with Mathematica Policy Research and Airam Actuarial Consulting, released an issue brief on the state considerations when setting capitation rates for Medicaid Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) programs. CHCS and its partners examined the considerations taken by eight states (Arizona, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin) as they established their MLTSS rates.

This is an annual report from United Cerebral Palsy that uses a set of key indicators to investigate data and outcomes of the community living standards for individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the United States. The findings from this report can inform policymakers and advocates on improvements and changes to ensure the best quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
