What Older Adults Want Policymakers to Know: Bipartisan Solutions for Better Care

The Bipartisan Policy Center will hold a webinar examining the challenges older adults face navigating health and long-term care systems.

Drawing on interviews from The People Say Initiative, an online research hub that features first-hand insights from older adults and caregivers on the issues most important to them, this webinar will include a discussion grounded in personal stories and focused on addressing persistent challenges older adults face. Speakers will highlight policy opportunities to strengthen support for home-based care, increase access to behavioral health services, ensure affordable aging, and reduce health system complexities.

Speakers:

  • Jesse Springer, State Medicaid Agent and Senior Administrator for Wyoming Medicaid, Wyoming Department of Health
  • Kari Benson, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Aging, Administration for Community Living
  • Megan O’Reilly, Vice President of Government Affairs for Health and Family, AARP
  • Maya Goldman, Health Care Reporter, Axios (Moderator)

Date: Wednesday, January 21, at 3:00 p.m.
