Individuals that choose the consumer directed services (CDS) model for service delivery are encouraged on the Direct Care Careers platform. The person using CDS will fill out an account profile and can include optional information such as specifying the types of care needed, service schedules, and the Financial Management Services Agency (FMSA) used. The individual can also post jobs including a job description, requirements, minimum qualifications, gender and language preferences, types of care needed, and schedule. The candidates/workers profile is collected in a list of candidates for the person to review once a match is made.
