November Age-Friendly Public Health Systems (AFPHS) Training: National Rural Age-Friendly Initiative

As part of the Age-Friendly Public Health Systems initiative, Trust for America’s Health will hold a webinar exploring the National Rural Age-Friendly Initiative.

Older adults comprise nearly 20% of the rural population in the United States and that statistic is projected to grow to 25 % by 2040. This training will provide an overview of the National Rural Age-Friendly Initiative and highlight how age-friendly efforts are creating supportive environments that help older adults in rural communities age in place.
