The Administration for Community Living (ACL) has announced a funding opportunity through the Tribal Adult Protective Services (APS) Demonstration program. This initiative offers an estimated total of $750,000 to support tribal governments and organizations in enhancing their Adult Protective Services systems. ACL plans to award up to five cooperative agreements, with individual awards ranging from $150,000 to $200,000.

The purpose of this opportunity is to enhance and improve the provision of Adult Protective Services by tribal governments and organizations. These demonstration grants are intended to help tribes identify the needs of their communities related to abuse, neglect, and exploitation, implement activities to address those needs, and support the development of coordinated, multidisciplinary efforts to prevent and respond to maltreatment.
