Ageism Awareness Day

October 9th is Ageism Awareness Day. The American Society on Aging (ASA) has released top priorities for Ageism Awareness Day:

• Raise awareness about ageism's impact and the importance of age-inclusion
• Encourage and promote member efforts to raise awareness and collaborate
• Flood the internet and media with a realistic picture of aging and tools for change 

The ASA released resources and toolkits for the 2025 campaign including a fact sheet, social media toolkit, and age-friendly communication guide.
