Webinar: Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs): What Advocates Need to Know

Justice in Aging is hosting a webinar, “D-SNPs: What Advocates Need to Know,” to provide advocates with an overview of Justice in Aging’s updated issue brief, which covers basic information about D-SNPs, their structure, and how they are regulated. An increasing number of states are focusing on D-SNPs as a primary vehicle for integrating care and improving the coordination of services for their dual-eligible populations. However, many advocates are unfamiliar with what D-SNPs are, what makes them unique, and how they operate. The presenters will discuss how advocates can engage with their states to ensure that D-SNPs effectively coordinate care and benefits for dual eligibles.

Presenters:

  • Hannah Diamond, Senior Policy Advocate, Justice in Aging
  • Samantha Morales, Senior Policy Advocate, Justice in Aging

This webinar will take place on Thursday, August 28 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
