The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) Center on Aging, Trauma, and Holocaust Survivor Care has launched a new Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed (PCTI) Essentials course. This course is a free, online, and self-paced course that equips those who support older adults with practical strategies and tools to create meaningful, person-centered, and trauma-informed practices. Eligible participants can earn 5 Continuing Education Credits (CEs) upon completion.
This course is designed to educate professionals and volunteers, regardless of position or experience level, on the impact of trauma on health, aging, and service delivery and how the PCTI approach can help. Learners will develop practical skills to enhance care for aging populations by engaging in real-world exercises and developing tailored PCTI approach implementation plans to meet individual and organizational needs.
