Applications Now Open for the second round of State Technical Assistance to Improve Direct Care Worker Recruitment, Training, and Retention

The Direct Care Workforce Strategies Center, led by the National Council on Aging (NCOA), announced the opening of applications for the second round of technical assistance opportunities for states to build their direct care workforce. This is a self-paced technical assistance option for states, delivered through web-based workshops. The Strategies Center provides a systems change approach to facilitate cross collaboration among state agencies, including Medicaid, aging, disability, labor, workforce development systems, and stakeholders to improve recruitment, retention, training, and professional development of the direct care workers.
